Holding Space For Creative Emergence
For many years I was a creative strategist, working for companies like MTV, Sony Music and Facebook. My specialism was decoding the cultural zeitgeist and aligning those insights with the process of creative development.
Over time I moved away from the corporate world and trained in approaches tailored to unlocking deeper levels of collective insight and creativity.
Some of the new breed techniques I trained in include Collective Presencing, Emergent Dialogue, Next Level Facilitation, Theory U, Psychodrama and Psycho-Spiritual Integration.
Now I work all over the world as a facilitator of group intersubjective creativity. Much of my approach is grounded in Creative Presencing - an approach synthesized from multiple points of experience, including my years of professional experience leading group creativity and innovation in a commercial context. In this psychotechnology the team is working directly with energies of creative emergence stimulated by the group’s social field.
I work with many types of creative communities, teams and artists including, but not limited to, corporate creative teams (eg: innovation teams, design teams, creative writing teams) to creatives from the world of music, visual arts, written word and movement. My interventions are custom-designed high frequency workshops, built specifically to help disruption teams to unlock powerful forces of breakthrough collective creativity.
I also work directly with individual leaders to help them develop their capacity to sense into and work with/from creative emergence, and to hold space for creativity for their teams and organizations. This capacity dovetails with the Teal leadership framework, where leaders become “sensing executives”, channels for how the living entity of their organization itself wants evolve.
